When you work in an office environment, you connect and communicate with many people. But similar is not the case when you work remotely. So you can feel lonely and isolated from the world out there.

People who are more of an introvert can feel okay working by themselves but not the ones who like to mix with people.

If you are working out of your home in some other place then you will feel that there’s no real separation between your work and private life. Some companies may intend to fill them in later but this is actually not necessary. And this can adversely affect the productivity and effectiveness of the remote workers.

One more concern is that without attaining office the chances of their career advancement also greatly decreases.

People who need to have regular contact with their team-mates should not prefer working remotely until and unless it’s just one or two days a week. Consider this also if you are comfortable otherwise don’t go for it.

Another major concern is that you need to maintain a level of discipline to complete things on time if you’re working out of your home. You will face distractions like children, pets, errands, etc. You need to be organized and manage your time wisely in order to be productive and useful.
