Word of Praise

My wife and I come here every year for the anniversary of our first date. Nice little location, with a warm feeling to the place.Solid food and I’ll note that the burgers are some of the best in the city.

As a craft beer lover, I’m happy with the beer list. There are a few micros to choose from, from both the Ontario and Québec craft beer scenes. With a good menu and beer list, Chez Lucien has a good foundation for being a great restaurant. Sadly, while the service has never been dismal, it has never been stellar either. Neither while oft times pleasant, the staff is rarely truly engaging nor are they very timely in their service.
All in all, a great place. _ James Kempster
